Some of the best connections at IBC happen away from the show floor at the Beach Bar, drink in hand, DJ on, conversations that run on longer than planned.

This year, company travel policies mean some of the UK's best broadcast talent can't make the trip to Amsterdam. So The Hive Group is bringing a taste of that Beach Bar energy to them, right here in London.

Departure Lounge takes over The Playroom at The Broadcaster in White City, London: a private events floor with its own bar and terrace, reimagined for one night as our own Beach Bar. DJ, drinks, and a room full of broadcasters and tech vendors taking place just three days before the show doors open in Amsterdam.

Consider it the send-off to IBC week for everyone making the trip, and a way to stay close to the action for those who can't.
